hello buddy

you are my new journal

i gave into the peer pressure... I know, its the old "all my friends are doing it"

And no... if they jumped off a bridge I would not... unless they ALL jumped off a bridge cause then I would have no friends.

Anyway... I guess I'll just start... so I saw Phillip Seymour Hoffman today. He was standing beside me for like 5 minutes before I realized who it was. He's much fatter and shorter than I realized... and I'm much meaner than I realized...

Scary Camp 2k6 is amazing. Today we say the Bodies exhibit. It was my second time. I saw it with Justin in April. It's weird how I just completely forgot that they were real bodies. Real dead bodies.

"Real Dead Bodies"
A COW III piece by Andrew Neisler

Anyway... (I love to name COW pieces, plays, movies and such... so that may happen often...) but we saw this medical student (I'll call her MD) there and she asked me if i was and i said no and luaghed and said i was in theatre. I could see her thinking "what the hell are you doing here then" but it got me thinking about myself as an audience member and how this exhibit put me in a place I am usually not in. When I usually see theatre or art I am there with the knowledge and artistic understanding to look at it for its craftmanship, creation, skill, and uniqueness. However, with the bodies I was simply just in awe of what I was seeing. While MD was blown away by the amount of time it would take to "isolate the nerves" and such. Which is better... I dont know... is there a better... i dont know. I also sat on a rusty landing next to shitty port-a-potty and rubbed the shine off of black leather boots with acetone for the costumes in MACBETH in the park. Im already tired and I want to eat something and nap before rehearsal. Maybe I'll do this again later. Maybe I won't.
